I am a French-American stylist based in New York. After a bohemian childhood moving around the world, my first step into the fashion arena began when I opened a vintage clothing store in the south of France at the age of 21.
Selling clothing wasn’t for me. I moved to Paris where I began modeling as well as working directly with designers such as Kenzo, Yuki Totrii and Jean Colonna. Through modeling I discovered fashion and met photographers like Bettina Rheims and Toscani who opened my eyes to the fashion image.
My experience as a model is where I learned the language of clothes, how to create characters and tell a story through fashion. That’s when I decided I wanted to be a stylist and bring my own inspirations and flair to an image.
My goal, as a stylist and art director is to use fashion as a visual narrative tool.
I want to use clothes to make a picture that is timeless: unbounded by trends, brands or budget. I choose to work with kids because I find it both challenging and playful. It’s one of the aspects of the job I enjoy the most.
Words that define me are: urban, graphic, ethnic, colorful and playful.
My years of styling have taken me around the world from the North Pole to Cape Town, landing on every continent. I seek to work with a range of subjects and get out of my comfort zone whenever possible. I have enjoyed working with aboriginals, models, actors and rappers.
In my career as a stylist I have worked on editorials, advertisements, catalogues, commercials, movies, and as a style consultant.
